Confidentiality ...With the State

The state (of Montana) will maintain a confidential list of "qualified patients" and "approved caregivers" to whom the department has issued registry identification cards. Individual names and other identifying information on the list must be confidential and is not subject to disclosure except to a) authorized employees of the department as necessary to perform official duties of the department; or b) authorized employees of state or local law enforcement agencies, only as necessary to verify that a person is a lawful possessor of a registry identification card.

State and Federal Agencies have no ability to gain information that doesn't exist.

Listing Options

A: To use this system and be totally hidden from everyone all the time. The only email you get is from a temporary account that is deleted upon use. The email or text you receive cannot be traced*. Then you build the relationship directly with your caretakee.

B: To provide your email and phone number for the potential patients to view. (and maybe images)

C: A free blog listed with your caregiver profile:

• With images and text you choose,

• And hosted online here at MontanaCaregivers.net.

• You also get free messaging using our internal messaging system

D: Some combination of the above.

* NOTE: This system uses a complex series of automated scripts that:

• creates a temporary account that hides your true identity,

• emails through it, and

• deletes the account upon sending an email or text message to your cell phone, then

• recreates a new temporary account that hides your true identity.

Both the caretaker's and the patient's information, such as return email is deleted.
